great truck. loads of fun right out of the box. and an awesome bang for your buck at this price

Good, but go for the brushless version instead., March 18, 2014
Chassis design is well sorted out, styled like a mini-buggy.

Handles very well, even though the tires didn't seem like the best as first.

The motor is a bit over-geared, gets really hot after just one pack. Motor mount is not adjustable - There is an adjustable mount available, to use different gearing. That, or just buying the brushless one in the first place, would fix the problem.

Fun little truck, January 26, 2014
The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because I expected to receive a truck based on the Tacon Soar buggy and it is however, the changes are significant and don't appear for any real reason. Here's the run-down: no bearings at the wheels, a motor mount that is extremely difficult to deal with, no slipper clutch and different differentials are the significant changes. If you're going to keep it stock, then none of those things will matter to you. All-in-all, it's a great truck. Durable, quick and very easy to use.
